Fire Hydrant and Water Main Valve Inspections and Maintenance

Fire Code RequirementOur complete Fire Hydrant Inspection determines the status of your unit and includes a diagnostic report.

This inspection includes (but is not limited to):

Interior, exterior and mechanical condition
Water level and drainage
Caps, nozzles and body condition
Isolation valve position, accessibility and we manipulate the valve
Water tightness condition
Record the hydrant's current hydraulic readings (Static and Dynamic pressure)
Note: To provide flow rates for color coding, a flow pressure test for colour coding is required
Flushing fire hydrant and fire hydrant lead
Preliminary identification and localization of sectors with possible leaks
Internal hydrant base inspection for possible leak
