This type of inspection is not for isolation valves to fire hydrants, since the inspection of the isolation valve is included in the complete inspection.  These valves are water main valves that close water to certain sections of a water distribution system.  In many typical sites it is very important to locate these valves, as we have found very often they are paved over or buried in landscaping.  Sometimes these valves need to be shut for a variety of repairs such as the installation of a new fire hydrant and isolation valve.

Our water main valve inspection program checks the general condition of the valve by

manipulation. 

inspection of the valve box or the valve chamber that the valve is situated in.

Preliminary identifications and localization of secotrs with possible leaks.
