• Confirm the existence and location of water main valves
• Confirm the existence and location of building water supply valves
• Confirm the location and size of water mains
• Confirm the location and number of connections to the street water supply
• Confirm the size of the water distribution pipes on your property
• Confirm the existence of pressure reducers and backwater valves

In the case of a water main break, failure to know your systems layout could result in prolonged water flooding causing serious damage to the road infrastructure, basements, etc.
